For this Zine I combined several passions of mine; Architecture, Photography, Creative Writing, and Editorial Design. The subject itself is abandon and derelict buildings in Glasgow. I wanted to bring to light the number of buildings that—despite having such a rich history—are still left to ruin. All images were taken on a 35mm analogue camera.
After researching and visiting each building, using typography I gave each one a voice. The front cover has a film or acetate, on which the title is screen printed. This small design element was important to the project. I used this to visually represent that the grime on the outside of the building does not take away from its functionality or history
